Thanks for the comments! Can I edit the original post to add the list of corals? I'm planning to make a few frags for the frag swap in dec.

That looks good. Do you have a problem with blowing sand around with your mp40s so low in the tank? At what percentage do you run them at?

No problems with MP40w's blowing sand. They are running maybe 15-20%. I'm starting to move them up.

At first I thought it was a cap, but further investigation would lead me to believe that it might be coralline algae.

Glad to see the rocks worked for you. Did you break it up any? Tank looks good. Now if I can just stay at home long enough to get some real work done on mine.

As for the one you gave me, I broke the yellow tubinaria off of it and got all of the green monti off of the coral. So now it resieds next to my other one, unless you want it back.

The green monti covered rock is still in the same place and looking good. I did a 175G water change and cleane dthe tank real good so it's looking better now. Just need some more corals in it and then to let them all grow in.

Yes I did break it up because it wouldn't fit in the bucket. Actually, I don't notice much changes if I see the tank everyday. If I do notice things more if I've been gone for a few weeks.

You can keep the turbinaria, it's a slow grower? I'm glad to get rid of the green monti.

I haven't seen flounders in a long time!!!!
    Where'd you get him??
These one are tropical. They don't get nearly as big as halibut. I had mine for 6yrs before I had to get rid of my tank. He was about the size of a quarter...maybe a .50cent piece when I got him and about 6" when he left. Never touched anything he'd jump at some fish if they got too close. But my cleaner shrimp and peppermint shrimp could just walk on him.

    Very cool fish.

Those are my only ricordeas and don't plan to frag them anytime soon. I got them from Unique Corals, they will have a nice discount if you go there for the Holiday party.

I'm upgrading to a 180 gallon tank! Basically adding 6" of depth. It will be 6' x 2' x 2' glass tank with a center overflow. All equipment will be carried over to the new tank and I will be moving things over later this year.
