Because if a hydrometer I pretty sure you can't calibrate those but if it a refractameter just use fresh ro/di water and calibrate it with that its the same thing as using calibration fluid

calibrating with tap water will get you in the ball park. but don't rely on it to be accurate. I have calibration fluid if you want.to swing by we can calibrate it to 1.025. that way you can trust your refractometer.

Calibrate it with refractometer fluid and you can calibrate it to 1.026 sg. You just need a few drops. I can lend you some at the next meeting or anywhere in port Hueneme during my lunch break. Send me a pm.

    Drew,

where in Oxnard are you? I'm over by saviers and hueneme road. Why not swing by with your refactometer and we can calibrate it.
