    How soon do you start to see results from adding a uv sterilizer?

    I doubt you'll see any results with it. What kind of results are you looking for?

    Run activated carbon for Clearer water.

    UV sterilizers don't work as well as we think, yes they do what they say they do, but it only effects what's being passed through the light. stuff that doesn't go through the filter wont be harmed. it's like putting a bandaid on a sliced artery, you'll never stop the bleeding.
