    Dosing?

Post by reefer87 on Thu Dec 01, 2011 1:15 am

Do you turn off your skimmer when dosing chemicals? Such as waste-away or refresh. And what chems do you turn it off for?

They are both a Dr. Tim's product. It doesn't mention it unless I over looked it.

Yes turn off your skimmer for a couple of hours. I use the same products all the time. The skimmer will pull it all right out if you dont turn it off

U shouldent really need 2part if u have fish only and a couple of corals. It would really just be a waste of money. But no you dont need to turn your skimmer off for that its not a bacteria
