Well i didnt relize i needed new rodi filters so now i have to wait for thoes :/

Question for all you guys. Im having problems getting my red leds to turn all the way off. Even when sending the off or 0% dim signal from the apex they still are slightly on. Im using the eln-60-48d drivers if that matters. Any ideas?

You know they sell RO/DI water at the water stores. Wink

So how could you not know you needed new filters? Just back flush the RO and get going. Your dragging this out WAY to long. Smile

I'm still keeping with my assertation that you are dragging this out so you'll have the longest build thread on here. You know, I can always copy and paste MY build thread from RC on to here if you want some competion. If got nothing else to do up here but sit in a hotel. Wink

Do you need a RO filter? Or just the prefilters? The prefilters you can get a Lowes or Home Depot. The RO you can try reverse flushing it to clean it out some.

Or you can go to the water store and buy the water. Smile

They may also sell RO filters as well. And a TDS of 2 is not bad at all.

He knows I have prefilters. He just needs the DI resin.

TDS of 2 is not ideal, but in a new tank is probably ok. You are better off starting the new tank with the higher TDS water. You can probably lower the TDS a bit with new prefilters too.

I said almost full so no it has not been completly water tested yet. I am hoping to finish adding water today then start mixing the salt in. After that mixes its cycle time which should take a couple of days max

Its at about 90 percent and yes i could start mixing in the sump i guess but id rather wait a couple of hours and make sure everything works properly first

Any spot lighting? how close are you now? you should just stick your ro line into your sump and make the pump do the work.

Nope no spot lighting although it looks like it in the pic. Im starting to fill the sump now. Yes there will be a cover on the canopy and stand to cover everything
