No, pretty quiet. We camped for two nights and did some hiking. There was fresh snow and nice weather during the day but very chilly at night. We are planning to do Half-Dome this summer if we get a permit. I already hiked Mt. Whitney in one day last year and we didn't have luck with the permit this year. It's always nice to get out there and get away. Btw, its very busy in Yosemite in the summer, too many tourists but if you backpack in the backcountry it would be better.
