    Blue/green chromis

Post by justin1386@gmail.com on Sat Jun 02, 2012 8:26 pm

So I went to a local fish store and let me start by saying that this store is decent for fish. I like the store quite a bit. But it's employees just aren't that great. I'm lOoking at green chromis and I ask how much and he says 14.99 and I said for a chromis!!? "well they're blue/green chromis" I was like no way that's a green chromis no way 14.99!!!

I'm just venting cause I would have gotten a few but he just came off as a total jerk.
And also NO WAY SHOULD ANYONE PAY14.99 FOR A GREEN CHROMIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Depends on the size. The XL blue green chromis can go up to $25 but I bought mine for around $12.

Small or large? Most stores sell the small for $3-5.

I paid $3.99 per at a lfs, but I do believe they were $12-$14 for the larger fish. You can go to other places in the area and pay much less, but you will get what you pay for too.

From what I understand, this is a very popular fish right now, which is why the cost is what it is.

You can also order them on-line if you want but even Live Aquaria sells them for 6.99 for 1"-2" fish.

    Did you buy them?

Haha I'm surprised this thread got a lot of hits lol but ya I may want a few. I lost my yellow eyed kole tang and my coral beauty in my move. So ya I may want a few more swimmers since I only have 2 that actually get around.
